It was a significant day at our offices in Smallbrook Industrial Estate, Clehonger, as we hosted a meaningful discussion with Jesse Norman MP. The agenda was built around the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for the Cleaning and Hygiene Industry, chaired by Nigel Mills MP, and the ongoing inquiry, "Embedding Effective Hygiene for a Resilient UK".
Jesse's visit was a testament to the vital role of the cleaning industry in our society, particularly in these unprecedented times when hygiene and cleanliness have become paramount.
Our very own Billy Russell found the meeting with Jesse enriching. "Jesse listened intently and brought some fantastic insights to the table," Billy said. One of the points of discussion that stood out was the idea of apprenticeships for the cleaning industry. As the cleaning industry evolves, the value of skilled professionals cannot be overstated, and Jesse showed significant interest in fostering the growth of such programs.
"It was a real pleasure to host this meeting," Billy added. The focus of our conversation, "Embedding Effective Hygiene for a Resilient UK", aligns perfectly with our core values at Billy Russell Cleaning Ltd. We've always been passionate about promoting effective hygiene practices.
This meeting marked a step forward towards our shared vision for a resilient UK, fortified by effective cleaning and hygiene practices. Billy said, "I look forward to more of these productive meetings and collaborations. Working closely with Jesse, I am confident of a bright future for our cleaning industry."
We look forward to our continued work with Jesse Norman MP and the APPG. The way forward is bright for our industry, and we're excited to contribute towards a cleaner and healthier UK. Stay tuned to our blog for more updates on our involvement with the APPG and the cleaning industry as a whole.
